The Governing Council of the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS) has appointed Prof. Dominic Alimbey Dery as the Institute’s new Deputy Director at the Accra Campus with effect from 3rd November 2025. Prof. Dery is an Associate Professor of African Studies at Tamale Technical University. He holds a PhD in Culture and Development Studies from the Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary Development Studies in Ghana.
